My name is Zach, and my professional life is varied and vibrant. I run two businesses--one, as a freelance journalist, and the other, as a business owner and flutemaker with El Búho Flutes. We all have a story to tell--and that's what I love about my writing work. I write for over ten publications throughout the country, from Florida to Texas to California. I have had the opportunity to meet incredible souls with diverse outlooks on the world. Alongside my writing work, I am a musician and flutemaker. With my small business, El Búho Flutes, I handcraft magical native and meditative bamboo flutes (see elbuhoflutes.com). I am happily homesteading in a cabin nestled in Starksboro, where I have the blessing of living close to the Earth, surrounded by my family and a nurturing community.
